Welcome to our entry-level oil painting class! In this engaging course, participants will embark on an exciting journey into the world of oil painting. Designed for beginners, the classes provide a introduction to the medium, covering essential techniques, tools, and materials. May 21 st ,22nd, and 23rd from 12:30- 2:30pm. students will gather in a supportive and creative environment to explore the fundamentals of oil painting. Led by Artist & Instructor Kelly Allard, our sessions will focus on basic skills such as color mixing, brushwork, composition, and texture application. One of the highlights of our course is the opportunity to create a small still life painting. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, students will learn how to observe and capture the beauty of everyday objects, translating them onto canvas with confidence. Our classes are designed specifically for teenagers who are eager to learn about this timeless artistic medium. July 9th, 10th, & 11th from 1pm-3pm, join us for engaging sessions filled with fun and learning. Join us August 6th, 7th, and 8th for a immersive art camp focused on the fundamentals of pen and ink drawing! If you're eager to explore the intricate world of ink on paper, this camp is tailor-made for you. Over the course of three sessions, participants will delve into various pen and ink styles, honing their skills through hands-on practice and guided instruction. Throughout the camp, students will have the opportunity to create three small drawings, each exploring a different pen and ink technique. From cross-hatching to stippling, participants will learn how to wield their pens with precision and finesse, bringing their artistic visions to life on the page. Artist & Instructor Kelly Allard will provide comprehensive guidance on composition, shading, and line work, empowering campers to develop their own unique artistic voice.
